Deep Tissue Relaxation Massage is a general term for a range of therapeutic approaches with roots in both eastern and western cultures. It involves the practice of kneading or otherwise manipulating a person’s muscles or other soft tissue with the intent of improving a person’s well-being or health.
Pregnancy Massage is the prenatal use of massage therapy to support the physiologic, structural, and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus. Various forms of massage therapy, including Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, movement, and Oriental-based therapies, may be applied throughout pregnancy as well as during labor and the postpartum period.
Reflexology is based on the idea that specific points n the feet and hands correspond with systems, organs and tissues throughout the body. With fingers and thumbs, the practitioner applies pressure to these points to improve circulation and promote relaxation.
Swedish Massage is the most commonly offered and best-known type of massage using long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, tapping and vibration to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve tension, and expand range of motion.
